Curse fo the Feathered Snake

In the valley known as the Carrisa Plains, in San Luis Obispo County, California, a unique and impressive sandstone formation juts out from the Caliente Hills. There nature has carved an amphitheatre, a thousand feet in diameter, with an inner chamber 300 feet deep and 200 feet wide. Spectacular enough in itself, the promontory became more than just a gift of nature when early explorers discovered a series of complete pictographs lining its inner walls.
